This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. Individuals in these roles have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others. Participants must be employed in the civil construction industry to undertake this course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal entry requirements for this course however participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instructions. To study as a trainee within this program you must be indentured as a trainee with your employer. The minimum age for a trainee is 13 years of age as described by The Child Employment Act.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

All students will be offered the opportunity to participate in a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process if they believe that they have suitable skills and knowledge through work experience, formal and informal training and / or general life experiences.
