Civil Train’s Civil Pathways program is designed for people wanting to enter the industry, providing practical, job-ready training across a range of specialist streams. These introductory courses help participants explore career opportunities, build foundational skills, and identify career options to take the first step toward employment.

All specialised streams delivered under the Civil Pathways Program form part of the nationally recognised RII20120 – Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation.

Civil Labourer - Intro to Civil

This program is designed for individuals new to the industry, giving you the essential knowledge, safety skills and practical experience needed to start work as a Civil Labourer on real job sites across Queensland.

Intro to Traffic

This program is designed specifically for individuals new to the civil construction industry, providing the essential skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to begin a career in Traffic Control and broader civil construction operations.

Intro to Mining

This program prepares new entrants for work in the resources and mining industry, providing the essential safety knowledge, practical experience, and entry-level competencies needed to begin work on mine sites across Queensland.

Intro to Logistics

This program is designed for new entrants wanting a practical pathway into transport, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations.

Civil Legends

Civil Legends is a hands-on youth program designed to help young people aged 15 – 23 years gain real-world skills, industry tickets, and a direct pathway into the civil construction industry. This program combines soft skills, safety training, and practical experience setting participants up to succeed on site and in life.
