DELIVERY METHOD

On-the-job/work based – Students will complete all their training and assessments on the job, with the exception of the electives RIIWHS302D – Implement traffic management (theory component) and RIIWHS202D – Enter and work in confined spaces.  These electives will be delivered through attending classroom training.

FUNDING AND FEES

Fees are subject to change annually.  Fees are payable at the time of enrolment.

The User Choice 2020-22 program provides a public funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment services for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees. 

Traineeship: eligible trainees that meet the Queensland state funding requirements will be charged a set fee per nominal hour. These fees are calculated at a regulated rate of $1.60 per nominal hour. The fees may vary depending on the electives selected at time of signup.  Concession rates apply for students who hold a current Health Care Card or who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander are calculated at a regulated rate of $0.64 per nominal hour.

Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Funding – this qualification can be delivered under the Higher-level Skills Contract to workers who meet eligibility criteria.  Please contact Civil Train Administration team for further information.
